CLASSIC
Classic is the earliest game mode in Mobile Legends. All other game modes use the rules in Classic as a base. This mode gives 5 vs 5 and the Mobile Legends experience without worrying about losing Rank but
your win rate will be affected, both from the hero side and the whole. Classic Mode is suitable for beginners who need t
o familiarize themselves with Mobile Legends games. You can freely choose any hero you have, plus the Weekly Free Heroes and the trial cards. However, in one team there can be no same hero.
RANKED MODE
When your account reaches Level 8
an you have 5 or more heroes, you can take part in ranked play where
you’ll be matched up by the system with an opponent of similar strength.
Players can invite friends to play in ranked games together. Ranked player supports Solo/Double/5-Player Match-ups. Invited friends cannot be more than one division higher or lower than you
There are altogether 7 divisions in ranked play (from low to highest): Warrior, Elite Master, Grand Master, Epic, Legend, Mythic. Players get one star for every victory in ranked play, and lose a star for every loss. When a player has full stars, the next victory will result in promotion. When a player has no stars, the next defeat will result in demotion. In Warrior division no stars will be deduced for losses.

Usually, a lot of great players play on this tier, then you will be difficult if only mastered some heroes only. The rank has only 5 divisions but requires 6 stars to rank up. STAR RAISING POINTSIn addition to simply gaining a star for every victory and losing a star for every loss, there are also Star-raising Points which can allow you to get stars faster and Protection Points which can counteract star reductions.
Star-raising Points
You can get Star-raising Points when you win a ranked game(10+ pts depends on your battle Grade), and will get Protection Points whether you win or lose.
More consecutive wins will grant you more Star-raising Points (+20 pts depends on your battle Grade), .will also give your more points and you'll get more Protection Points if you perform better than your teammates in a game. Getting achievements like MVP, Legendary, etc. will also give Star-raising points.
- Legendary - 10 Pts.
- MVP - 10 Pts.
- Maniac - 40 Pts.
- Savage - 50 Pts.
PROTECTION POINTS
When your Protection Points
are full, they will all be consumed to a counteract a star reduction
when you lose a match. When you lose another match with no Protection
Points maxed you will granted 10+ or more pts (depends on your battle
grade)
The upper limits of Star-raising Points and Protection Points increase with your rank.
The upper limits of Star-raising Points and Protection Points increase with your rank.
INVALID GAME
Also there is a game mechanic
in-game to Invalid the match. If one player is AFK you and your
teammates can choose the game to invalid the match or just go with the
flow.
You can do this by:
You can do this by:
- All players (All 5 Teammates) must stay in the base for this to happen and must not let the enemies get a kill or any teammate to die for 3 minutes.
- If this goes successful then the system will detect the AFK Player and the match well end, all players won't have there star lost except for the AFK player (Who will be punished).
BRAWL
Players are only given ONE lane instead of three.
- The player is given a choice between 2 random heroes.
- Players who have been already out of the base can not re-enter the base.
- Items can only be bought inside the base, in order to buy more you must die and respawn.
TIPS AND TRICKS
- Know who's playing
- Spell healing
- Buy the right stuff
- Hiding in the bush
TRIVIA
- This is all about gank, tower defending, and clashing in-game.
- This
is most recommended to play as Support with healings such as Estes,
Rafaela, Minotaur, etc. Player must play one support hero only, but two
support could sometime be acceptable to double the healings.
- Also recommended to go to other teammate's back to avoid being damage/killed in battle.
- Mostly, this is only the mode to not have Buff Monsters. Due to battling around the buffs or overpowered situation.
- Since this game mode doesn't have Buff, Heroes that relies on buff we'll have a difficult time in this game mode, heroes like Fanny, Hayabusa, etc.
VS. AI
The name alone, we must
have already understand with what ismeant by this Mode by name alone.
This game mode will present you a 5 vs 5 game mode just like any other
mode, but we will play with real-players against computers. An AI
(artificial intelligence) automatically driven by the computer to fight.Usually VS A.I Mode can be as a training ground to play or try out a new character. But in this game mode our game statistics won't be affected. You can also invite your friends up to 4 people to practice together against computers with.
There are also difficulty settings: AI:Simple and AI: Normal. AI:Simple for very easy AI good for playing against for the hero you are not yet well-played with.
AI:Normal for AI's that can sometimes farm, lane, and not spam skills. Good for practicing heroes that you are a little well-played with.
CUSTOM
Custom games are very similar to
Vs. AI. The difference is the players set themselves up against other
people or against AI. Players can invite friends to join, or add AI with
existing buttons. Players can also add AI to the opposing team or on
your team, you can also play alone with an AI. u can also choose which mode you want to go in Custom, theirs Classic, Brawl, and Draft Pick. The purpose and rules of the game are exactly the same as the Classic Mode, but here you have the freedom to manage the number of players. You can do 1 on 1 with friends in the game, or play three against 5 AI, or one against 5 AI.
The purpose for Custom Mode in Mobile Legends is for practicing new heroes or experimenting item builds, hero skills, etc.

SURVIVAL MODE
Survival is like any other Battle
Royale but with few tweaks for fit in Mobile Legends. Survival only
works on a team of 3 to battle against 99 Players (33 Teams) and the Map
won't be Celestial Palace or Western Expanse, it will be settled on the
Maze ofMinos which is a large map to fit 99 Players in it! Survival
only offers 15 selectable heroes and is divided into three groups:
Physical, Magical, and Defense. Looting in this Game Mode is different
from Battle Royales you have to kill Creeps/Jungle Monster in order make
them drop items there are also 4 New Creeps in this Game Mode. To find
out more click the highlighted text above
MIRROR MODE
Mirror mode is like Bruno Cup Mayhem mode (in fact, the map, the Lord, and minions are of the same
theme) but the players will choose one among the randomly picked heroes.
The most votes will be their chosen hero. Like Mayhem mode, the players
will start at hero level 3 and 900 gold. Like Classic, the lanes will
be 3 lanes. As with all game modes, the objective is to destroy the
enemy base.
